According to new research published in Psychology Today, couples who own a pet together are happier and have lower blood pressure than non-pet-owning couples.

Also, Couples with pets have more of a connection than couples who don't own a pet.

Having a pet can improve your mood

Pets can also help you unwind after a long day at work.
