Manatee County Will Live Stream Coronavirus Update Today at 2 p.m.


Manatee County officials will deliver the latest on the local response to COVID-19 today during a press conference that will be live streamed at 2 p.m. Viewers can stream the press conference live atwww.mymanatee.org/mga

County Administrator Cheri Coryea, along with Manatee Sheriff Rick Wells, Department of Health Officer Dr. Jennifer Bencie, and Public Safety Director Jacob Saur will provide updates during the press conference held in the Honorable Patricia M. Glass Chambers of the County Administration Building, 1112 Manatee Ave. West, Bradenton. 

As of this morning, March 20, Manatee County has nine confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). Manatee County Commissioners declared a local state of emergency and Manatee County Government is monitoring coronavirus closely. Local beaches closed to the public this morning at 6 a.m.
