#GoodNews: Nurses In Tampa Create Waterproof Sleeping Bags For Homeless

A group of nurses in Tampa are creating warm, waterproof sleeping bags for the homeless using sterile wrap used to protect surgical instruments at their hospital.

The sterile wrappers were just being thrown away and the nurses came up with the idea to upcycle them into something useful.

They’ve made 100 of the sleeping bags so far and they’ll be given to the homeless in the Tampa Bay area.
