Lee Brice was calling his brother up to the stage the other night to join him on a song but someone else showed up.

Luke Bryan's summer tour is having a rough week. Following his show Sunday at New York's Jones Beach Theater, Luke apologized for struggling on stage with his voice. He tweeted, "Gave you all I could. What's crazy is my allergies. I focus all day to sing good. And some days the kitchen sink won't work. Then you just drink tequila. Ha." Then one of his equipment trucks crashed into a New York overpass yesterday morning, thankfully, no one was injured in the accident.

The CMA's reigning Duo of the Year, Brothers Osborne, will announce the nominees in select categories for the 51st annual CMA Awards on Good Morning America on Monday. Yes, on Labor Day. They'll also perform their new single, "It Ain't My Fault." Dustin Lynch and Lauren Alaina will also take part in the announcements.  The CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air live from Nashville on Wednesday night, November 8th on ABC.

Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation is helping the animals affected by Hurricane Harvey. A note posted to Instagram said, "We will help transport any animals currently in shelters so that there is room for displaced animals." The foundation will also be on hand to help in any way needed. Lambert grew up in Lindale, Texas, which is about 200-miles north of Houston. She and her mother started MuttNation in 2009.

Lady Antebellum is among the country artists stepping up to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The trio is donating the merchandise proceeds from last Saturday's show in Dallas to relief efforts. Lady A was scheduled to play in Houston the next night, but the show was cancelled because of the hurricane. Chris Young is also donating to the cause. He's given 100-thousand-dollars to the Red Cross and has launched a GoFundMe page to raise half-a-million-dollars. Meanwhile, Texas natives Josh Abbott Band are selling "My Texas" t-shirts through their charitable website JAB Care, with all proceeds going toward disaster relief effort in the state.

Lee Ann Woman is gearing up for the release of her new album. "The Lonely, the Lonesome & the Gone" will be available on October 27th. Womack says the album is soul-infused. It was recorded in Texas. She explained, "I wanted to get out of Nashville, and tap into what deep East Texas has to offer musically and vibe-wise. I wanted to make sure this record had a lot of soul in it, because real country music has soul. I wanted to remind people of that." Womack is opening for Alan Jackson's Honky Highway Tour through late fall.
