Record-Breaking Rower Killed In Florida Van Crash

A college athlete is being remembered as passionate and hardworking, just days after setting a world record.

Grace Rett was the only member of her rowing team to die in a crash. She was in the front passenger seat of a van when it collided with a truck in Vero Beach. The remaining survivors (11 people) were all hurt.

The team is from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts but was in Florida for winter training.

The 20-year-old was still celebrating her rowing record of nearly 240 miles in 62 hours.
