The city of West Palm Beach uses a Real-Time Crime Center to help fight crime.

It includes some of the latest technology, including giant video screens to watch for any suspect cars that may come into the city. It also includes the Shot Spotter program that traces gunshots to certain areas.

Police Chief Frank Adderley says he was very impressed the first time he saw it.

"I have personally visited the Real-Time Crime Center in New York City, which if you look at some of the articles by the National Chiefs of Police they put it at one of the top ones in the country. What I saw here in West Palm Beach, we've got pretty much everything that they have."

The chief says he'll keep an eye out for any newer technology that could make the crime center even better.
