"Snack Man" helps feed the homeless

A disabled man in Citrus Heights, California, has become known as the “Snack Man” around the neighborhood because he hands out food to the homeless from his motorized scooter.

For the last two years, Alfred Sanchez has been buying snacks, juice and dry goods -- and then putting the food into ziplock bags.

He gets up early every day and makes his rounds, handing out these snack bags to anyone who needs it.

Alfred’s goal each day is to give people enough food to get them through the morning -- and try to cheer them up a little bit, one bag at a time.
