The best cities in America to live in

While a lot of us choose where we live based on what we can afford and how close it is to our job, that doesn’t necessarily mean we are getting the best this country has to offer. You may think you live in the best city around, but now “Money” magazine is here to let you know whether or not that's true.

The mag has just come out with their choices for the Best Places to Live in America. In making their choices, they looked at a city’s economic health, cost of living, diversity, public education, income, crime, ease of living and amenities, and more.

So, where is the best place to live in the U.S.? According to “Money” it’s Clarksville, Tennesee , where the average resident is just 29, and where homes sold for just under $156,000, last year, which is $100K below the U.S. median home price that year. The city’s proximity to Nashville is a big part of what makes Clarksville such a great place to live, especially since jobs in Nashville have grown 38% since 2009. Plus it has it’s own wealth of job opportunities, thanks to a new LG manufacturing facility that opened this year, and a Google data center expected to open within the next two quarters.
