Man helps kids with cancer by creating customized cars

Rich Nardiello of Sewell, New Jersey, is using his creative talent to put smiles on the faces of kids battling cancer by creating customized cars for them.

Before summer is over, Rich expects to have completed about 50 of the toys -- which he calls PopPop’s Kustom Kars -- with each car being specifically designed for a child battling pediatric cancer.

The parents of the children who’ve received a gift from Rich rave about the ride-along cars. They know being in an out of hospitals isn’t much fun, but the cars go a long way toward keeping the kids happy and moving.

And knowing how much the families cherish his efforts, Rich has no plans of stopping and will keep creating for other families as long as he can.
