With all that in mind, Virginia Beach, Virginia tops the list as the best big city to live in, scoring a 65.49 and landing at number one for affordability and in the Top Ten for education and health. When it comes to quality of life, New York, New York tops the list, although overall the Big Apple lands in seventh place.
