Cops join the party

Police in Carrollton, Texas, received a noise complaint last week and responded to a home that had a lot of people and music pumping. But instead of pulling the plug and sending everyone home, they hung around a bit.

Once the officers saw that it was a high school graduation party and the guests were all having innocent fun, they gave them a warning and then joined the party.

The officers stayed for several minutes and danced with the graduate and her friends. The teen's father, Luis Diaz, said, "I am very grateful for these great officers for allowing me to continue with my daughter's graduation party last Saturday. Thank you so much.”

The Carrollton Police Department shared the officers' bodycam footage of the party onFacebook.
