Man sets treadmill record to raise money for charity

In England, a man who calls himself “Adventureman” set a new Guinness World Record by running 524 miles on a treadmill in just one week -- and raised tens of thousands of dollars for charity along the way.

Jamie McDonald spent the first nine years of his life in and out of the hospital with a rare spinal condition. He is so thankful for all the medical help he received through the years that he’s dedicated his life to raising money for sick children.

His latest stunt involved running nearly 75 miles a day on that treadmill for seven days -- the equivalent of 20 marathons -- and raising another $65,000.

Between all his stunts in the past, he’s been able to donate over $1 million to those in need -- and has no plans on slowing down.
