Ex-"Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe To Compete On "Dancing With the Stars"

Kaitlyn Bristowe will sashay her way back onto TV screens later this year as a contestant on the next season of Dancing With the Stars. The ex-Bachelorette star was surprised with that news Monday night on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!"This is a question I'm so excited to ask you because, well, your life is about to change," host Chris Harrison told Bristowe--who was seated next to boyfriend Jason Tartick and clearly thought a proposal was about to take place. But Harrison then said, "Kaitlyn, will you be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars?" A stunned Bristowe replied, "Are you serious? Chris! I'm shaking. Oh my gosh. Chris, I'm going to cry... I'm so honored to say yes." She later told ET, "I love surprises. It's hard to surprise me and I honestly just had zero idea... I love that I will always be able to look back on that moment and it was really, really special." Bristowe'sDWTScasting comes three years after she claimed she was offered a spot on the show, but got blocked by Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss, who allegedly "said he didn't want people wanting fame after his show." The upcoming 29th season ofDancing With the Starshas yet to be officially announced, but may take place in the fall.
