Tom Brady Splits Pants, Makes Miracle Birdie

While he's technically a golf amateur, and played like one for much of the weekend, Tom Brady pulled off the shot of theThe Match: Champions for Charitytournament on Sunday, ESPN reports. After announcer Charles Barkley gave him some grief over his poor play, Brady holed a wedge shot for a birdie on the seventh hole of the course in Hobe Sound, Florida. "Chuck, shut your mouth, Chuck," Brady told Barkley following the shot, after some friendly banter between the two legends. The shot also earned a $100,000 donation from golfer Brooks Koepka, who had pledged that amount should Brady make par on the front nine. Brady also split his pants open during the round, later tweeting, "Pants wanted in on social distancing I guess...." Brady paired up with pro Phil Mickelson to take on Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods in the charity event, which ended up raising $20 million for COVID-19 relief. Woods and Manning finished 1 up over Mickelson and Brady, with celebs calling in to offer challenge donations to the players live during the match. "I was not comfortable the whole time, but raising $20 million as people are going through such tough times, it's something I'll always remember and cherish," Manning said.
