NBA Could Finish Season at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando

Another major sport may be heading to Florida to resume its season, Yardbarker reports.The Athletic's Shams Charania tweeted Wednesday,The Athletic's Shams Charania tweeted Wednesday, "One possible playing ground for NBA if finishing season becomes safe for league and players: Walt Disney World Resort property in Orlando, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. League has kept different scenarios in mind." Yahoo Reporter Kevin Smith had reported Walt Disney as an ideal spot for the league in recent weeks, because the venue has the necessary lodging and facilities for the type of quarantine that would be required before play could start again. While Florida has deemed pro sports an "essential" business, there are other obstacles to be worked out before this idea could come to fruition. The league and the player's union would have to agree on a long list of possible scenarios, including what happens if a player or multiple players test positive, and whether families would be allowed to live on site.
