Mayor of Kentucky Town Finds Woman Living in His Cellar

On Wednesday morning, Bruce Wilkerson, the mayor of Bowling Green, Kentucky, "heard a ruckus" outside his home, so he decided to investigate. After spotting blood on the door to his home's cellar, he went inside and found a small bag with some women's leggings and other items. A short time later, his electric outlets suddenly lost their power, so Wilkerson ventured back to the cellar, where he found a woman in her twenties who told him, "I'm hiding from someone." She then left on foot. Wilkerson told The Bowling Green Daily News that he shared the story to set the record straight. "The story would have come out the that I had a lady locked up in my cellar," he joked.
