Mom Who Gave Birth While In Medically Induced Coma Meets Him For 1st Time

Early this month in New York, Take Yanira Soriano was so sickened by coronavirus that doctors put her in a medically induced coma in order to hook her up to a ventilator so she could breathe. Soriano was also 34 weeks pregnant, so her newborn son, Walter, had to be delivered via emergency C-section while she was unconscious. Walter was transferred to another hospital while his mom made a miraculous recovery. On April 15, she was discharged and finally able to meet Walter for the first time--a moment that was captured on video and melted the internet's heart after CNN anchor Jake Tapper shared it on Twitter.
