Either Lady Gaga really didn't know about her dad's GoFundMe page to pay his restaurant staffers, or she's just got a great "Poker Face." After it was reported that Joe Germanotta asked the public to crowdfund employee pay at one of his New York City restaurants, a source tells Page Sixt hat Gaga was as shocked by her dad's decision as anyone. “She had no idea he was doing that and that idea would have been shot down," the insider claims. “It was him acting on his own, unfortunately, really bad impulse.” The source continued, "It was a stupid, embarrassing mistake. He saw other people getting into the spirit of giving and generosity and somehow thought that applied here." On his since-deleted GoFundMe page, Germanotta wrote, “Our staff is finding it increasingly difficult to finance the daily necessities...Our goal of $50,000 would cover our typical payroll for approximately two weeks, and 100 percent of the profits would go to our hourly workers to provide those necessary items like food, childcare and medical expenses." As Page Sixnotes, Lady Gaga took home $39 million last year.
