Fans toss 10,000 teddy bears onto ice during hockey game

Last week, thousands of fans showed up at a Cincinnati Cyclones hockey game – and did more than just cheer on their favorite team. Many of them arrived with teddy bears, which they threw onto the ice so the toys could be offered to children by police officers during stressful situations.

It was the 10th year the Cyclones partnered with Cincinnati police. And, it was also the most successful event yet with fans throwing more than 10,000 toys onto the ice – a new record.
