130,000 books donated to elementary schools

A charity group in Texas called Read Fort Worth set a goal of having 100% of third graders in the city being proficient readers by 2025.

And to help accomplish this goal, the group of community leaders, businesses and volunteers made a huge donation of 130,000 books to the elementary schools in the district.

Thanks to their hard work and generosity, every pre-kindergarten through second-grade teacher received 50 to 100 new books for their individual classroom libraries, which will certainly get those kids even more excited about reading – and improve their reading skills along the way.
