Boss pays off Vietnam Veterans Mortgage So He Can Retire Early

Albert Brigas has worked as an auto mechanic under Rudy Quinones since 2006. Albert is a Vietnam Veteran and had a plan to retire once he paid off his mortgage.

Well, Rudy accelerated that plan for Albert when he wrote a check for $5,000, allowing Albert to start enjoying his retirement immediately.

Rudy said cutting the check was a no-brainer because of Albert’s hardworking nature.

During his time working with Rudy, Albert was known for coming into work every day, even when he was sick.

So Rudy wanted to reward Albert – and help him spend more time with his family.

Albert, of course, appreciated the gesture, pointing out that it was just another example of his boss showing that he cares about his people and what happens to them.
