4-Time Cancer Survivor Now Playing Football for Univ. of Minnesota

A four-time cancer survivor who has had 14 surgeries hit the football field for the very first time in his college career.

Casey O'Brien, a sophomore playing for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers against Rutgers, had his first career appearance as a holder on special teams Saturday night.

After the kick was successful, he ran off the field and was embraced by head coach P.J. Fleck. O'Brien then held on two more kicks during the Gophers' 42-7 win over the Scarlet Knights.
