Several streets in downtown Sarasota will be closed for the 2019 Memorial Day Parade, which will be held Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m.
The parade will start at Main Street and Osprey Avenue. The Sarasota Police Department announced that the street closures will begin at 9 a.m and end at noon.
The closures:
- Gulfstream Avenue from Cocoanut Avenue to McAnsh Square
- Main Street from U.S. 301 to Gulfstream Avenue
- Links Avenue from 1st Street to Ringling Boulevard
- Osprey Avenue from 2nd Street to Ringling Boulevard
Vehicles not moved by 9 a.m. will be towed at the owner’s expense.
