Kacey Musgraves & Taylor Swift Won The Same Four Grammys In One Night

Kacey Musgraves ' winning streak at the 2019 Grammy Awards is bringing back memories of Taylor Swift 's iconic Grammy triumph in 2010.

The 30-year-old won big at Sunday's (February 10) annual music celebration, bringing home four honors for her hugely-successful 2018 album, Golden Hour . The singer-songwriter's outstanding victories were extraordinary in more ways than one, as Swift previously accepted the same Grammys just nine years before her contemporary.

At the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, the "Delicate" musician won Album of the Year and Best Country Album for her sophomore LP Fearless , as well as Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for "White Horse."

Similarly, the "Slow Burn" artist matched Swift's four-peat success at this year's 61st ceremony, claiming Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Golden Hour , as well as Best Country Solo Performance for “Butterflies," and Best Country Song for “Space Cowboy."

It is only with the minor exception of the Best Country Solo Performance category, a merger of the Best Female Country Vocal Performance, Best Male Country Vocal Performance, and Best Country Instrumental Performance awards that were introduced in 2012, that the two songbirds won the exact four trophies in a single night.
