Man Says Emotional Support Alligator Helps His Depression

Some people who suffer from depression swear by medication, but 65-year-old Joie Henney relies on his emotional support alligator instead.  Henney has registered an emotional support animal named Wally, who is a five-foot-long gator. The Pennsylvania man didn't want to go on medication for his depression, so he received approval from his doctor to use his gator instead. 

Wally likes to snuggle and give hugs. The 4-year-old has reportedly never bitten anyone and is also afraid of cats. He may, however, grow to be 16 feet long. That's a lot of support...
