Manatee Co offices closed Mon. in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

County offices closed Jan. 21 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Jan. 14, 2019) – Manatee County Government offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

Downtown Central Library, the only County library open on Mondays, will be closed for the holiday and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 22. 

Trash and recycling pickup schedules will continue as normal next week. Manatee County Area Transit and the Anna Maria Island Trolley will operate normal daily routes. 

Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves will remain open. 

Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public. 

Manatee County and Buffalo Creek Golf Courses will be open.  

G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 21.
