Wreaths Across America at Sarasota National Cemetery this Saturday

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Our Local Remembrance Ceremony and Wreath Laying for Sarasota National Cemetery will be held at Patriot Plaza on Saturday, December 15, 2018. 

There is a Motorcycle Escort, as the Remembrance Wreaths arrive at 8:00am at Sarasota National Cemetery. 

On behalf of the committee for Wreaths Across America, everyone is invited to attend our Remembrance Ceremony at 10am on Saturday, December 15th at Sarasota National Cemetery, with Wreaths Across America.

All are welcome to attend... No pre-registration is required to attend and participate. We urge everyone to arrive early to park and be seated at Patriot Plaza. There is ample seating this year,as well as attendants on site to assist you with transportation to and from your cars.

Schedule for the day. 

10:00am - Wreaths Across America - Remembrance Ceremony 

10:30am to 11:00am - Families First - The Laying of the Wreaths will begin at 10:30 for Families who will lay their loved one's Wreaths 

11:00am to 11:30am - All Volunteers will lay remaining Wreaths. 

The Mission of this day... Today, be honored and humbled... You Placed A Wreath On The Grave Of An American Hero.... Never Forget.... Remember... Honor...Teach.
