EVENT SCHEDULE

Check-in

Sign up online before the walk for easy check-in the day of the walk. All event participants, including children, need to register for the walk. If you do not register online prior to the event, please visit the check-in area upon arrival.

New and improved for pre-registered, online participants!

All event participants, when you arrive at the event, head to the check-in tent and look for check-in volunteers to confirm your attendance and turn in donations.

Check-in will open at 7 am on walk morning.

Opening Ceremony

Come together with survivors, caregivers, men and women from all walks of life who are passionate about saving lives from breast cancer. Celebrate your shared efforts. Inspire each other to carry on. And take comfort in the knowledge that because of your dedication, no one walks alone.  Opening ceremony starts at 8:30 am on walk morning at the main stage.

Walk Begins

The 5k Walk begins at 9 am.  We all walk together, but our event is not a race.  Participants will walk around the beautiful lake at Nathan Benderson Park.

New this year!!!

There is a shorter, 1 mile course for those who want to participate but choose not to complete the 5k.  This walk will start at 9:15 am.

Those who choose to walk the true 5k course will finish the final mile on the "floating mile" across the lake!

The walk concludes when the final walker crosses the finish line.  But, don't leave right away.  Be sure to visit the vendors and sponsors booths and enjoy entertainment from the Main Stage and brunch from the Food Trucks.

FOR SURVIVORS

The survivor area is a special area for survivors and the caregivers attending with them. We include both survivors and caregivers to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible. You'll find important information about American Cancer Society programs and services geared specifically for you.  The Survivor Area will be located near the Main Stage, separate from the Registration Check In tent.  We will plan to take a Group Photo at 8:45 am near the Survivor Area.

Survivor Check-in

Sign up online before the walk for easy check-in the day of the walk. All survivors and event participants, including children, need to register for the walk. Please visit the Survivor check-in area, in the Registration Tent, upon arrival.  Check-in will open at 7 am on walk morning.  You will be able to register if you have not already done so, check in if you have registered on-line, turn in donations, and check in for the Survivor Brunch all at one location.

Survivor Brunch

Survivors and their guest will be treated to a fantastic Brunch after the walk.  Brunch will start at 10:30 am, at Nathan Benderson Park, under the Survivor Brunch Tent.

We are excited about our new Survivor Brunch sponsor, Metro Diner. Our Survivors are sure to enjoy this delicious brunch.
