A Washington state man is putting forth his best effort to raise money for breast cancer awareness by doing his best Garth Brooks.
Cliff Satterwhite, a karaoke host at a Seattle bar, sang the country star's "Friends in Low Places" for 36 hours straight this week to raise money for the Real Men Wear Pink breast cancer awareness campaign.
He started his singing marathon on Tuesday night and wrapped it up around noon yesterday (Wednesday). Aside from some short breaks to eat, drink and go to the bathroom, Satterwhite never stopped singing. He didn't even sleep.
Slatterwhite took on breast cancer as a cause in honor of his sister who is a survivor. He hopes his Garth marathon will raise $10,000.
