Howl-O-Ween Spooktacular:  free movie night on Oct. 13

JOIN US FOR A FREE MOVIE NIGHT

  • Location: Ed Smith Stadium, 2700 12th Street, Sarasota 
  • 5 p.m.: Children's Halloween-themed games and activities
  • 6:40 p.m.: Costume parade around the bases
  • 7 p.m.: Watch "Hocus Pocus" (PG) on outfield Video Board 

ABOUT THE HOWL-O-WEEN MOVIE NIGHT SPOOKTACULAR

The fourth annual event features children's games and activities, a costume parade around the bases and a screening of the movie "Hocus Pocus" (PG) shown on the outfield video board.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with children's Halloween-themed games and activities in the concourse and near the outfield wall. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes as part of the fun, as the Oriole Bird will lead a costume parade around the bases at 6:40 p.m. The screening of "Hocus Pocus" begins at 7 p.m., and all gates will close following the film at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Families are also encouraged to bring a blanket to watch the movie from the outfield or enjoy viewing from ballpark seating.

Plus, OneBlood will be conducting a blood drive throughout the event and all donors receive a free Halloween-themed T-shirt.

Concessions will be available and families can bring sealed water bottles into the park. No coolers, outside food or lawn chairs are allowed and no strollers or high heels are permitted on the field. Children age 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

ADMISSION

There is no charge to attend, each guest is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for All Faith's Food Bank. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

PARKING

Free parking is available in the East Lot. Enter the ballpark through the left field gate.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions will be available for purchase. No coolers or outside food allowed, however, sealed plastic bottles of water are permitted.
