Brantley Gilbert will give companion dogs to veterans at eight of his tour stops.
He says, “Nothing helps heal like an animal’s love. These dogs aren’t just good dogs, they’re trained to help their veteran, and new companion, cope with stress, memories and triggers people can’t see, and provide them with a sense of solid grounding."
The dogs were recruited by the Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the veterans receiving them were chosen by Disabled American Veterans. Brantley has teamed up with Pedigree dog food for the campaign.
