AUTOMOBILE REPAIR CLASS DONATES CAR TO SINGLE MOTHER

A single mother in Louisa County, Virginia, now has a new car -- thanks to a bunch of talented high school students.

For weeks, the automotive technical class at Louisa County High School had been working to restore a Jeep Cherokee. They finally finished and were thrilled to deliver it to Monica White, who had been relying on relatives to help her run errands for months after her car broke down.

The car is especially important to Monica as her son suffers from autism, which requires a lot of chasing around.

The students in class are proud of the work they did and Monica is excited to have a new way to get around. Even her son is happy about the new set of wheels as he jumped into the Jeep the moment he saw it and smiled during the first drive.
