A high school football game last Friday in Blacksburg, Virginia, was extra special for one of the players because he ended up being surprised by a special visitor – his Army sister.
Just after the coin toss for the game, Charles River was shocked to see his sister Ashley, a Private First Class, walk onto the field.
Because of training, Ashley had never been able to see her brother play. Luckily, she was able to take a break and have a touching reunion with him – and then look on as he played, making memories that neither of them will ever forget. (WSET-TV)
