Last weekend could be the last time Floridians have to set their clocks forward an hour from Daylight Saving time.
State lawmakers are looking over a bill to keep Florida on daylight saving time all year. The change would give residents more daylight later into the evening and hopefully boost the economy. The hope is that would keep tourists out later and help businesses that depend on the tourism industry.
The bill is currently in committee but if passed by the end of the current legislative session in Tallahassee, it would take effect July 2014.
