The Notebook is one of the most romantic movies ever made, but it appears Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams had their fair share of problems on the set. In a new interview celebrating the movie’s 10th anniversary, director Nick Cassavettes said that Ryan once tried to have Rachel removed from the set. Nick said, “Ryan came to me...and he says, 'Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off-camera with me?’” They ended up working out most of their differences in an off-camera screaming match, and the rest of the filming was “smoother sailing.”  They became a couple in real life as well.

Just days after Courteney Cox announced her engagement, her ex-husband David Arguette has proposed to his girlfriend Christina McLarty, yesterday. He proposed at dinner in Malibu with their 2-month-old son, Charlie West, and David's and Courtney's 10-year-old daughter, Coco. "David was just waiting for the right time," a source tells Us. "He and Courteney both talked about taking the next step in their relationships … They both want what's best for each other.

Jewel and her husband rodeo star Ty Murray are getting divorced after six years of marriage and 16 years of being together. Jewel broke the news on her blog yesterday. "My husband, friend and partner of 16 years and I have decided to get a divorce. " For some time, we have been engaged in a private and difficult, but thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves. Allowing ourselves the time and space to redefine what we are to each other with love rather than malice." The couple eloped to the Bahamas in 2008 and welcomed a son, Kase, in 2011.

Eric Church says growing up, the 4th of July was all about the lake and having fun with friends on a pontoon.  He says, “We would always go to the lake. Everyone would tie all the pontoons together and just have a big time.  Basically, water tailgating is what it was.”

Keith Urban says that fellow American Idol judge Harry Connick Jr. “feels like a brother” to him—-even if their close relationships isn’t as obvious as Blake Shelton and Adam Levine’s on The Voice. "We're very different as people, but I love his heart and I love his musicality." He also defended Jennifer Lopez, against rumors that she is a diva. Saying, "I think the word 'diva' gets misused a lot of times by people,” Urban explained.

Robin Thicke has been spending a lot of his time trying to win back his estranged wife Paula Patton. But during an appearance on Good Morning America yesterday, he admitted that he actually has no idea what he’s doing. Saying, "I'm just kind of flying by the seat of my pants on this one. I just wanted to make something artistic out of a very difficult period. When you lose the love of your life, you don't have much to hide anymore." He went on to say that Paula is the best person he’s ever met, and that the least he could do was devote an album to her.
Cameron Diaz said in an interview that she chose not to have children because she decided she was not willing to take that on as a responsibility. She said, "It's so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for -- I didn't take that on," the actress told Esquire. "That did make things easier for me. A baby -- that's all day, every day for eighteen years."
She also says, she has motherly instincts. She likes protecting people, but was never drawn to being a mother.
