Miss Nevada Nia Sanchez was crowned Miss USA 2014 last night. She has a fourth-degree black belt in taekwondo. First runner-up was Miss North Dakota. Meanwhile, Florida Georgia Line and Nelly performed their hit "Cruise" during the swimsuit competition.

Rihanna won "Most Desirable Woman" at Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards on Saturday. Upon winning she said, "Thank you for voting me for this at 26 because we all know it goes downhill from here." Other winners included Sandra Bullock, who took home the Decade of Hotness Award and Matthew McConaughey, who was named Guy of the Year.

Chris Young is at home recovering from emergency hand surgery following an accident at his house last Thursday. He cut his left hand with a kitchen knife while preparing a late dinner after hosting his annual fan club party. The accident forced him to cancel an autograph session at the CMA Music festival and his performance there this past weekend. However, he is expected to make a full recovery and be able to play guitar after rehabilitation.

George Strait performed his last concert ever in Arlington, Texas over the weekend, where he set a new attendance record. According to The Boot, George drew 104,793 fans to AT&T Stadium on Saturday night. The record for indoor concert attendance previously held by the Rolling Stones.  Vince Gill, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, and Kenny Chesney  joined George on stage throughout the night to help him say goodbye.

A man was arrested after breaking into Sandra Bullock's Los Angeles home early Sunday morning. Police responded to the call of a prowler at 6:30 a.m. and arrested 39-year-old Joshua Corbett on suspicion of residential burglary. Sandra's rep confirmed that the  she was home during the break-in, but said, "She is unharmed and is fine."

Taylor Swift has made a $50,000 donation to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Cancer Center. The Associated Press reports that her donation will be used to make a "high-tech music therapy cart," which will allow teen patients suffering from cancer to create their own music. "We are thrilled that Taylor Swift has chosen to support The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Cancer Center," CEO Dr. Steven M. Altschuler said. "Her gift will help lift the spirits of many CHOP patients during a difficult time." You truly rock, Taylor!

In case you missed it there were a couple of breakups over the weekend, Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart split and so did Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas but love was also in the air which I like much more. Former bachelorette Emily Maynard got married Saturday in South Carolina to auto management consultant Tyler Johnson. They  had a surprise ceremony at his families farm in Sharon, N.C., before 200 guests. Emily wore a pale pink gown with cowboy boots. Her daughter, Ricki who is 8, was maid of honor. Plus "Good Morning America" meteorologist Ginger Zee married fiance Ben Aaron on Saturday in Michigan.

Miranda Lambert and Hunter Hayes are among the artists set to perform at the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular special on NBC. The event will be hosted by Nick Cannon, and also include performances by Ariana Grande and Lionel Richie. The show will air from 8-10 p.m. ET on Friday, July 4, with an encore presentation at 10 p.m., highlighting the second hour of the special.

Olivia Munn and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed rumors that they were dating by stepping out together in Los Angeles on Friday. The couple were photographed holding hands and exchanging several kisses. The Green Bay Packers player also escourted the actress to lunch after watching her film scenes on the HBO series The Newsroom. Munn recently split from RoboCop actor Joel Kinnaman, while Rodgers parted ways with Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr.
